Saina Nehwal wins Taipei Open Grand Prix
Saina Nehwal, the badminton star of India won Second Major title of her career by winning the Chinese Taipei Open Grand Prix, Saina defeated unseeded Malaysian Li Ya Lydia Cheah 21-8 and 21-19 in the final. Her earlier Major title was the Philippines Open in 2006.
Saina also had very good outing in her first Olympics in Beijing, she was touching distance of entering the Semi finals, but was defeated by Malaysian Maria Kristin Yulianti.
She has to improve a lot if she has to reach the top of the ladder of the Women’s Badminton. She has already done what no other Indian Women badminton player has done. Lets hope that she does well in the coming tournaments and win India Laurels
