Killer Saturday : Four killed in Mehrauli Blast Delhi

Killer Saturday again taking its toll on Delhi and this time it is Mehrauli Sarai that has suffered. More than four person is dead including a child. Also more than 20 are injured and are shifted to different hospitals.

The blast took place in the flower market in ward no 8, near Mehrauli flower market in South Delhi on Saturday. The cause of explosion is not known and the police is yet to confirm that it was a bomb blast.

Locals, however, alleged that this was bomb blast and a loud explosion took place in the market. Several people have been seriously injured and sources said that it could be some kind of a bomb.

Eyewitnesses said two persons came to the flower market and planted a plastic bag in the crowded market. Police has, however, refused to comment on the cause of explosion. The injured people have been shifted to the hospitals and police has started investigation into the cause of the explosion.

Delhi and Mumbai has been put on high alert after the Mehrauli Blast.
