Indian boxer Vijender Kumar enters Semifinal of 75Kg Boxing
In one of a sparkling performance Vijender Kumar entered the semifinal of the 75KG Boxing. After the failure of two other boxers in quarter-finals, there was huge pressure on Vijender to win his quarter final bout and he exactly did that. Vijender defeated Carlos Gongora of Equador. His scores were 2-0, 2-1, 3-1, 2-2 so Vijender Kumar won the match by 9-4. With that India is assured of one more bronze medal.
Vijender’s semifinal match is on Friday August 22. He will be playing the mighty Cuban Emilio Correa Bayeaux, the Cuban won his quarter-final match with Elshod Rasulov of Uzbekistan.
Vijender has a tough task on hand to win his semifinal match, lets wish him all the good luck for the match.
