3 Gold Medals for India in boxing at Beijing Olympics - is it Possible?
If going by the form shown by the three boxers, Akhil Kumar, Bijendra Kumar and Jitendra Kumar, I think the above statement will be true. But my biggest fear is the bad luck for Indian players in crucial games.
I still remember couple of Indian boxers knocked out in the quarter-finals by last second points in the Athens Olympics. Losing a close match has been the habit of Indian Players. Most of the time they go through the tough contest but falter at the easier ones. No one can forget the effort of Flying Sikh Milkha Singh, who lost the bronze medal in olympics by a whisker of a second, similar result happened when P.T. Usha lost the bronze medal in Olympics by parts of seconds.
I have been an avid follower of Indian sports and it has been disappointing to follow each and every sports only to see getting them knocked off in final stages. But we can only hope that the players understand our sentiments and try to avoid complacency and give a full effort in the important games.
I really hope that all the luck stays with Indian boxers and they bring all the 3 gold medals for our loved country India.
My love for the country says that India will win all the 3 gold medals, but my inner instinct says it is not possible. Lets see if our boxers makes all the scripts wrong and win the gold medals, but first they need to enter the semi-finals and then finals and then the final knock out punch.
Akhil Kumar has his quarter-final bout on Monday while Jitender Kumar and Vijender has their quarter-final bouts on Wednesday. We have earlier heard an interview of Vijender saying world is now afraid of Indian Boxers, and that was proved all the three boxers Akhil Kumar, Jitender and Vijender. The way they fought their Pre Quarter-finals was in its own a medal.

I liked the article. I liked the thought as well of winning 3 more medals. I am in China right now and saw the copy of China Daily in Shanghai when Bindra had hit the gold. India was ranked 12th in the list.
Wish to see that. But anyways lets see what happens, I am cheering for these boys anyways.
If our boxers do well we may end up in under 15 finally

It is not possible to win 3 gold medals in the same game.
Because GOld medal is for top ranker.
