IPL over what next?
IPL is over and in a colorful way and the match which was worth watching 100 times. It was the battle of the best captains in the tournament, two captains who did’nt had excellent resources to start the tournament. But the captain lead with example, and went to the finals. And once in finals, it was anybody’s game. Mahendra Singh Dhoni has raised the level of captaincy couple of notches after Sourav Ganguly. Talking about captains, it was heartening to see all the four senior guys of Team India were not able to take their teams to the Semi-finals. Sourav, Rahul, Sachin and Laxman(didnt played much, but was fully involved in the team). All the other three Indian Captains who are the future of Indian Cricket took their team to semi finals. Thats something worth thinking about
.
Once the IPL is over, the cricket has come to a standstill and will take some time to digest the fast paced nature of IPL, and get accustomed to watching One day cricket and Test Cricket. But still their glamour will remain, and in the coming days it will be proved that all the three forms of cricket is here to stay and will be watched by millions.
