India lost yet another finals to Pakistan. India lost to Pakistan in the Kitply cup by 25 runs. It was a very good match to watch. It was yet another good batting display by Indian team which has been coming good of late. When Arunlal asked Younis Khan after the first innings, what do you think the pattern of play on this pitch, he replied that its good for the batsman who settles in. I think Indian team didnt listened to this interview, and kept loosing their wickets, if only a couple of batsman had kept his aggressive instinct under check and stayed at the wicket, the result would have been reversed.
According to me there were three mistakes Dhoni made which was quite crucial in deciding the fate of the match.

1. India had fantastic bowling start and after the 20th over Younis and Salman butt started hitting the spinning likes of Piyush Chawla, Yousuf pathan, Sehwag and Yuvraj. Dhoni would have done to call back the faster bowlers to break the rhythm of the pakistanis when they were on song and scored runs merrily.
2. Couple of top order batsman would have stayed on the wicket longer. Someone needed to score a century to win the match(This is not a mistake of Dhoni but he has to take it since he is a captain .
3. This is a shocker. It was a shock for me when I saw Raina coming ahead of Dhoni. There were couple of reasons I thought Dhoni would have come ahead, the first is Dhoni can control the game according to the situation, he reads the situation well and he could have stayed till the end and have won the match. The other reason was to maintain the Left - Right combination, he was ideally suitable to come up before Raina.
